Speaking to GQ Hype (via Marca), Rodrygo denied claims that Los Blancos are favorites for Saturday’s final.

“It is said that Real Madrid never loses finals, and I hope it happens again. I have always seen Madrid win all the finals, and I hope it stays that way. I always say the final score is 50-50. Of course, because we are, They always put us as favourites, but for me it’s still 50-50.

Rodrigo also spoke about the victory over Manchester City in the quarter-finals. He admitted that Real Madrid was and still is inferior to Pep Guardiola’s team, not that it mattered in these two matches.

“To be honest, we knew they were better. For me, they are the best team in the world, the team that plays the best football. I think the strongest opponent is gone, but that does not mean that it will now be easy to win the final. With Bayern “It was very difficult, and with Borussia Dortmund it will be very difficult as well.”
