The last few years have been very difficult for Ansu Fati, and his fortunes have not changed this season, despite the change in scenery. His loan move to Brighton & Hove Albion started promisingly, before the usual injury scare meant his playing time, which has been reduced to zero in recent months, was curtailed.
Fati will return to Barcelona in the summer, although it is not certain that he will stay. Club chiefs are likely to seek a move away again during the transfer window, and according to Sport, Sevilla would be very interested in a loan deal with the Catalan giants.

Incoming Sevilla coach Francisco Javier Garcia knows Pimienta Fati well from his time as coach of Barcelona Athletic, a role he held before being sacked in 2021. The 49-year-old will leave Las Palmas to join Los Nervionenses in the summer. A meeting with Fati will be required.
Another loan would make sense for Fati, and would allow him some familiarity if he stays in La Liga. Joining Sevilla could certainly allow him to reach a good level again, which would be very beneficial for Barcelona.
