Ian Wright asks Arsenal to sign Isaac from Newcastle
Speaking to Premier League Productions, Wright stressed Arsenal’s need for a decisive striker who can capitalize on half-chances, citing their narrow 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa as an example. He said (via HITC):
“I think they need a player who will fit into a technically structured team, someone who can stretch defences.
“There was a lot of talk about Isak at Newcastle. You look at Isak and think ‘yeah.’ “You could see someone like him at Arsenal.”
It remains to be seen whether Newcastle will agree to a move for Isak this summer, and even if they do, it would certainly be a record-breaking sale.
Isak (24 years old) scored 25 goals in 40 matches with Newcastle in all competitions last season.
As usual, Tunde and Tosin argue about who is their favorite striker. Victor Osimhen or Erling Haaland?
