Barcelona is already planning for next season with the 2023/24 season drawing to a close.

With the new La Liga campaign kicking off on August 18, Barcelona are aiming to schedule the annual curtain raiser for the Joan Gamper Trophy on August 11.
Barcelona have won the last 11 editions of the fixture in Catalonia, and according to Diario Sport reports, Werner Bremen’s Bundesliga side are being lined up as a potential contender.
Barcelona did not lose in its six official confrontations with Werder Bremen, the last of which was in the group stage of the Champions League in the 2005/2006 season.
