Horner complainant has misconduct case appeal dismissed –

An appeal by a Red Bull Formula 1 team employee who filed a complaint against team principal Christian Horner has been rejected.

In March this year, the complainant’s complaint against Horner for misconduct was dismissed, before he could exercise his right to appeal.

The case has been re-evaluated by another outside attorney who has now revealed that he also dismissed the complaint.

“Earlier this year a complaint was investigated against Christian Horner,” Red Bull said in a statement on August 8.

This complaint was dealt with through the company’s grievance procedures by appointing an independent judge who dismissed the grievance.

The complainant exercised the right of appeal, and the appeal was carried out by another independent body.

“All stages of the appeal process have now been completed, with the final result being that the appeal is inadmissible. Red Bull has accepted and adopted the jury’s conclusions.

“The internal process is over.”

“The company respects the privacy of all its employees and will not be making further public comment on this matter at this time.

Red Bull is committed to continuing to meet the highest standards in the workplace.

Horner has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing, saying in Jeddah last March that it was “regrettable” that the leak of alleged material against Horner to senior Formula 1 figures and journalists “received such widespread media coverage”.
