Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp made a final trip to his office as he prepares for his final match for Liverpool.
The German tactician conducted his last training session with the team in preparation for his departure.
News that their German coach, who has led the Reds for nine years, is set to leave Anfield at the end of the current season, took the team by surprise in January.
In his final game on Sunday, Klopp – who leaves after winning the Carabao Cup in February – will bid an emotional farewell to the Cup.
According to reports, Arne Slott has officially signed a contract as Liverpool’s new coach.
Klopp backs his side after surrendering a comfortable lead at Villa Park.
Klopp gives fans an office trip
Klopp surprised his fans by joining Instagram ahead of tomorrow’s final and then releasing a touching video.
According to reports from The Sun, he released another video in which he gave fans a sneak peek inside his office at the team’s training facility.
It also showed that when he was ready to leave the Reds headquarters for the last time, he had already packed his bags.
Klopp said in the video: “Here I am, the last day in the office. The last session ended and it was strange, I say.
“Few coaches get so emotional, and I was going to do that. I haven’t done that yet. I told myself tomorrow is a match and then a holiday.
“Obviously I’m deciding what to think about until I’m exhausted tomorrow. So, I’m leaving this place which is… um… yeah… I’d say it’s an interesting experience.”
He then panned the camera to a window overlooking one of Kirkby’s green pitches before revealing a number of boxes filled with his possessions and memorabilia before concluding with a sly smile and an “ay-ay-ay-ay-ay.”
During his time with the team, Klopp led Liverpool to win the Premier League and Champions League.
