Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze finally opened his Serie A account for AC Milan as he closed off a 3-1 result against Verona.

The Nigerian forward has come under a bit of criticism this season, as he has failed to truly hit strides for Rossonerri. Recently, Stefano Pioli called him out, asking for improved performance.

The Nigeria international has not been at his best at AC Milan since last summer’s move from Villarreal.

The former Villarreal man has now obeyed the clarion call, scoring to help Milan to a 3-1 victory at Marc Antonio Bentegodi Stadium. With the win, Pioli’s side climbed up to second on the log, displacing Juventus, who were held to a draw by Genoa.
