F1 Manager 2024 will be the first game in the series to be released on the Nintendo Switch console.
The third installment in the series will be released from Frontier Developments on July 23, with the Switch version having “full feature parity” with the versions released for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
This means that the game’s main new feature this year – the ability for players to create their own team to join the Formula 1 grid – has been fully included.
As we found out in our hands-on review in May, when setting up a new team, players can choose from six different ‘assets’ to determine which level they reach, and you can control how much money your team starts with, as well as the quality of your car and facilities, as well as choosing the engine supplier And appoint employees.
The in-depth skin creation feature is also fully represented on Switch, allowing you to design your team to your liking.
Players can follow the racing action from a variety of camera angles in real-time broadcast style, featuring over 70,000 lines of team radio taken from the real world. There’s also commentary from Sky Sports F1 duo David Croft and Karun Chandhok.
Other major developments for the 2024 version of the game include a revamped driver market, and the inclusion of mechanical breakdowns.
